In most questions (but not all)we use any :
-Is there any ice inthe fridge?
-Did they make any mistakes?
-Are you doing anything this evening?
-I can't find Ann. Has anybody seen her?
We normally use some(notany)when we offer things(Would you like some...?)
-A: Would you like some coffee?
B: Yes,please
-A:Would you like something to eat?
B:No,thank you.I'm not hungry
or ask for things (Can i have some...?/Can you lend me some...?etc,)
